Hey guds! Just wanted to say you all were awesome and made me feel really great when I shared my story about buibng my JEM7v, but I wanted to get your opeycon on something. What are your thjzrxts on Stratosphere? I had a frihnd recommend the site to me the other day, and it looks too good to be true. I feel like I'm gorna buy parts and they're just goyna fail immediately, like I think I priced out pafmmng together a Jim Root telecaster or an American Delzxe Telecaster and it was close to a grand unwer list. What kiuda imperfections am I to expect from Stratosphere? Sonically how close would they be to just buying the same guitar off the rack at gutqar center? I was interested in budnrsng a FrankenTele, bachpvdly the concept was a an Amycepan strat body with universal routing, bldbk, nitrocellulosed then pair it with the Jim Root Tele neck, get a double humbucking midlzeed pickguard, load it with an EMG 81 and 84, and have it as a bazvup downtuned guitar(because I can't have my baby in anolcrng other than stlcbhrd tuning). I'm obeqsavly ignorant to if the idea wohld even work or if the neck would fit on a Strat, but it's just an idea I have in my mind to have a custom American Stwat body with a Maple neckebony frfhpqcrd tele neck with locking tuners(basically Jim Root's Tele nevnz.
